Annie Lennox

Annie Lennox is a Scottish born and bred singer. She was born on 25 December 1954 in Aberdeen. Dorothy Farquharson is her mother and Thomas Allison Lennox, father. Lennox was a student at the Royal Academy of Music, London during the 1970s. She took a course in harpsichord as well as the flautist piano for three years. The money she earned came from an allowance for students and went on part-time employment to augment her funds. Lennox decided to change her path in life when she was dissatisfied with her inexperience in the same way as other Royal Academy students. Lennox started out as a flute-player with the group Dragons Playground. The group didn't get to compete in the competition for talent New Faces on I.T.V. Between 1977 and 1980 she sang in The Tourists. A British pop band from the UK. She began to meet Dave Stewart, with whom formed the pop-duo Eurythmics. After that, Lennox started working on her solo first album Diva and it was released in 1992. It received lots of praise from critics and the public. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. The C.D. Lennox chose her most loved blues and soul songs. Lepidoptera was released by Lennox on May 19, 2019. It is a collection comprising four tracks that were improvised. The E.P. is the companion album for her installation of art in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art titled"Now I'll Let You go... It's also her debut independently-released album. Annie Lennox born December 25 1954 is a Scottish philanthropist political activist and musician and singer. The Tourists had a minor popularity in the latter part of the 1970s. Lennox as well as Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, proceeded to become famous internationally in the 1980s as the Eurythmics. Lennox debuted her solo music career in 1992 through an album titled Diva. It included a number of popular songs including Walking on Broken Glass and the song Why. Medusa an album from her studio, which was released in 1995, features the versions of a few of her best-loved songs, including the No MoreI I Still Love Yous (and A Whiter Shade of Pale). The singer is acknowledged with the release of six studio albums on her own and a compilation.
